Job Overview: 

Tactacam is looking for a strategic, self-motivated UX/UI Designer to design differentiated consumer experiences that deliver measurable value. As the UX/UI Designer, you will define, design, and deliver upon the Tactacam user experience across our digital channels. You’ll be designing complex business solutions based on corporate goals, contemporary web design principles, and user data. This role will be responsible for the full design process, from ideation and sketching, wireframing and prototyping, to creating the visual elements that complete the design. A strong candidate has an eye for thoughtful design, possesses superior UI skills, and has knowledge of design for responsive and mobile environments. 

Responsibilities: 

Contributes to intuitive, engaging design solutions to satisfy various user experiences including websites, mobile, product user interfaces, and other digital initiatives (including wireframes, flows, mockups, and visual prototypes). 

Translates high-level requirements into interaction flows, ultimately transforming them into functional user interfaces. 

Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve end user goals. 

Optimizes existing user interface designs and combines creativity with an awareness of the design elements to create relevant and helpful updates. 

Develops technical and business requirements and strives to deliver intuitive, user-based solutions. Collaborates with multiple cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure business objectives are being met. 

Monitors emerging trends to gain knowledge and understanding of new technologies and design principles. Actively and successfully manages knowledge of multiple brands and appropriate communication priorities. 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related Design field, Marketing, or Business 

3+ years of professional experience doing UX design 

 Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite 

 Experience working with and designing for Magento / Adobe Commerce websites 

 Ability to apply theories related to color schemes, brand guidelines, use of space, text placement, usability, accessibility, and visual flow to create intuitive user interfaces 

 Strong communication skills and the ability to work within project schedules and deadlines

An understanding of how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can impact design and output
