Ingenuity Gaming is seeking a generalist UI/UX Designer with a logical yet creative approach to design. The role involves developing and executing user interfaces for casino slot games and internal tools and webpages, composing screen layouts, documenting design guidelines, and creating graphical elements. Collaboration with internal teams and external clients is essential. The candidate should have broad gaming industry experience, proficiency in industry-standard software, and expertise in creating compelling user experiences across a wide variety of platforms. Responsibilities include designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, creating UI styles, optimizing art frameworks, and integrating UI elements. The designer will contribute to the Studio Product Vision & Roadmap and play a key role in shaping the visual experience of our games and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce consistent and coherent UI styles for games, including menus,HUDs, buttons, icons, and in-game interactions.
- Design and develop the UI/UX components of internal tools and web portals across various platforms (desktop, mobile, land-based).
- Create visually stunning UI elements to enhance the aesthetic and user experience of games.
- Develop visual design documents (wireframes, mockups, prototypes) for effective communication.
- Assist in the overall design and layout of the company intranet and externally facing web portal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (game designers, artists, programmers) to align UI design within game, tool and web portal functions.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and players, conduct user research and usability testing, and iterate on UI designs to both innovate and meet requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, or related field.
- A proven track record in UI and UX design, with at least 3 years of professional experience in the gaming industry.
- A compelling portfolio that demonstrates your expertise.
- Demonstrable proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) and experience with UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability principles, and interaction design best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and translate design concepts into actionable requirements.
- Self-motivated and proactive work ethic, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Experience or interest in web layout and design is highly desirable.
- Experience in the iGaming industry is a bonus.
