About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Junior to Intermediate UX Designer to support a digital team working on a B2B financial platform. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in UX/UI design, user research, and digital strategy who wants to contribute to meaningful user experiences that support Canadian businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support UX strategy development and implementation
- Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis
- Collaborate with senior UX designers, business analysts, developers, and product owners
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces using tools like Figma
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups across responsive web platforms
- Maintain design consistency using design systems and component libraries
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, Accessible Canada Act)
- Participate in agile development processes using tools like Azure DevOps
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of UX/UI design experience in a B2B or enterprise setting
- Proficient with Figma (preferred), Axure, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles
- Background in user-centered design and information architecture
- Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with B2B financial or insurance products
- Accessibility certifications (e.g., CPACC, WAS)
- Familiarity with HTML or web development concepts
- Bilingual in English and French
- Experience tracking UX metrics and analytics
