The Graphic Designer is an established performer with strong communication skills who produces consistent work across mediums and seeks to understand client/customers needs and motivations. They are a high-level performer with the ability to lead and own projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Creative Director and senior designer to execute the company’s creative vision across all marketing channels including digital, print, web, brand, video and events.
- Works independently under tight deadlines while managing budget expectations of the task at hand.
- Collaborates with all teams across the agency to develop cohesive marketing strategies for our clients and internally.
- Works to constantly refine and learn new skill sets as new tools and creative processes are introduced into the marketing industry.
- Prepares files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Participates in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh and innovative design ideas.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Internship or freelance experience in graphic design is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other design tools is a bonus.
- Basic understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and apply it to your work.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work and creative projects (schoolwork, personal projects, or client work).
