The ideal candidate will be MSI's internal hands-on UX champion who can own our design system, drive continuous user-research, and act as the daily point-of-contact for the agency. Key Responsibilities:Â
Own & evolve the MSI Design System. Â
Audit UI across web & mobile productsÂ
Build, document, and govern a Figma component library mapped to our React/Material-UI codebaseÂ
Be the internal âclientâ for our external design agencyÂ
Translate product briefs into design tickets & feedback cyclesÂ
Review deliverables for usability, consistency, and feasibilityÂ
Run lean user-research end-to-endÂ
Plan, recruit, moderate, and synthesize usability tests & interviewsÂ
Share insights that directly inform roadmap prioritiesÂ
Gather continuous internal feedbackÂ
Facilitate lightweight design reviews with Product Owners, Customer Success, and ExecsÂ
Champion evidence-based decisions and âshow, donât tellâ prototypesÂ
Deliver hands-on UX/UIÂ
User flows, wireframes, hi-fi comps, interactive prototypes (Figma)Â
Annotated specs & close partnership with engineersÂ
Requirements:Â
4+ yearsâ pragmatic UX/UI experience within SaaS productsÂ
Expert-level Figma chops; familiarity with Material Design / MUI a plusÂ
Proven ability to plan & run usability tests, interviews, surveys, and synthesis soloÂ
Comfortable steering external vendors while staying hands-on with your own designsÂ
Strong, constructive opinions - backed by data, user empathy, and crisp storytellingÂ
Working knowledge of front-end constraints (React, HTML/CSS) to speak devâs languageÂ
Self-starter mindset: you create momentum and achieve buy-in with minimal oversightÂ
