Job Description:

The National Insurance Producer (NIPR) has an exciting opportunity for a User Experience Researcher position. This role will be responsible for researching, designing and guiding changes to NIPR products and services. This role will partner with development teams to create software solutions with an emphasis on usability and encourage change that ensures the end user is consistently met with the best customer experience.  This is a full-time position which will allow a person to work remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute custom research to support the objective of the business. 

  • Collaborate to define intent, development, testing, and refinement of prototypes. 

  • Build and refine user journeys and personas. 

  • Design and execute a variety of research studies, including user testing, field studies, usability tests, concept tests, group discussions, etc. 

  • Synthesize quantitative data with qualitative data to help drive product and design decisions. 

  • Partner with design, product, and marketing colleagues to understand business needs, and design appropriate research studies to generate user-focused insights 

  • Creates prototypes and wireframes as needed. 

  • Educates and promotes a user-centric mindset and how that intersects with interaction design principles. 

  • Helps identify and leverage business metrics that translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences. 

​Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in user experience design and research best practices. 

  • Experience with application development concepts and the software development life cycle (SDLC). 

  • Experience and proficiency in presenting to senior leadership up to Director level. 

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment 

  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Remote Usability Testing Tools.

  • Experience with Google Analytics and LogRocket (or similar tools).

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related work experience , or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience as a UX Designer, UX Researcher or Interaction Designer. 

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), NN/g UX Master Certification or other related professional designation.
  • Project Management certification (PMP)

Compensation

Starting at $83,846 up to $132,000 to be commensurate with experience and education
